W.K.B.F. Electric board club, Cardiff. 7th July 07
We had 6 of our fighters in action! The show promised to be a cracker and it lived up to all expectations with 10 quality bouts!
First up was Stefan Evans, he fought Ryan Martin, who he had beat last time out and finished with the same result, a win.
Craig Regan’s was next to fight, he fought a confident and competent opponent; they both put up an excellent fight with Regan’s just
loosing.
Next to fight was Mitchell Joseph; this was a well matched pair. Mitchell fought a very mature fight, he slowly wore his opponent
down over the 3 rounds getting stronger and more confident as the fight went on, knocking him down in the last, to give him a well deserved win.
Mike Hughes had his first fight. He came to the ring with determination, what he lacked in flair he more than made up for in effort.
He earned a well deserved draw.
Next fighter was Dale English; he is getting quite a crowd pleaser. He fought with the same composure as he always
brings to the ring. Again he was mature in his approach to the fight, working well and scoring points, he didn’t put a foot wrong and came out with an
excellent win.
Last up was Dean Draper, He had a night of disasters finishing with a TKO loss, and this was not his best night!
Well done to all my fighters, you always make me proud of you! Roll on the next show!

4 Seasons Club, Swansea. 25th May 07
3 of our fighters were in action Neil Lewis, Ricky Dennis and Jay. All the boys fought well!
Neil was strong in the 1st round but his opponent finished the stronger, with his opponent winning by points.
Ricky was next to fight, it was a very close fight, the judges seen it as a win for his opponent, but a draw would have
been more fair.
Jay’s first time out was a good result, with him being the stronger from the start of the fight. He gained a good win and a
wealth of experience.
Well done guys

CARDIFF KICKBOXING SHOW IN THE COAL EXCHANGE CARDIFF
This is some venue holding in excess of 600 spectators, with the ring at the centre, seating each end and sponsors tables each side. To make it
even better there are 2 massive screens on first floor level.
We had 5 fighters to fight on the bill, but only 4 fighters were fighting, Stefan Evans once again could not be matched.
First of our fighters in the ring was Neil Lewis, what a battle not much skill from either fighter but what a battle, so exciting. He fought with
so much commitment for his first time in the ring !
Next up was Mitchell Joseph, he had a fight which was a very hard bout. He did all he was trained to do. With a taller opponent he struggled to
get close enough, the other guys experience carried him through to a narrow point’s decision, He landed quite a few good shots and gave a good account of himself,
which we will take forward to the next show.
Dale English’s fight was an exciting bout, evenly matched and very exciting, as the crowd of our supporters showed. ( 2 coach full ) Dale knocked
him down in the 2nd round and would have knocked him out in the 3rd, but the crowd were so wound up they had to stop the show to calm our
supporters down, which took about 10 minutes. He went on to win the contest by points after a very mature display of his skills.
Last of our fighters was Dean Draper, saving the best till last ! What a display of speed, power and skill. He totally dominated the 1st
and most of the 2nd rounds till he turned with his guard down. His opponent caught him with the only punch he threw and knocked him down, unable to
continue he had to hand the win over to his opponent.
As always my fighters in karate and kickboxing, give me 100% commitment, their ability and their dedication is second to none, I couldn’t ask for
more.
Well done boys |

1st Welsh Warrior promotions Kick Boxing Show 3rd November 2006
The first Welsh Warrior promotions kick boxing show took place at the four winds hotel on the 3rd of November 2006. The show
was a huge success with 11 quality bouts, including 1 junior and 1 senior welsh title fights. The Budokan had 4 fighters, Steffan Evans, Craig
Regan’s, Dale English and Johnny Singleton.
The 5 junior bouts went well, with 1 exhibition fight and a Welsh junior fight, pleasing the crowd up until the break. The second
half was all senior fighters with 1 exhibition to start off.
Steffan Evans was the First of the Budokan fighters he fought a good opponent in Robert Naggie who was a bit to strong for Steffan,
who lost by TKO, but he put up a good fight.
Next Budokan fighter was Craig Regan’s, He came to the ring like a man on a mission, focussed and determined. He started like a
demon, he was brilliant. His opponent Mike Beck was a game fighter, the fight was going well until his opponent dislocated his shoulder and had to
retire. Regan’s won by TKO.
Dale English was our next fighter, he fought Adam Jones from Cardiff, and this was a close exciting bout which really got the crowd
worked up with enthusiasm. This was so exciting with both fighters giving all they had! Dale was that bit stronger and landed more punches than his
opponent. Securing a well deserved win,
Top of the bill was a Welsh title, between Johnny Singleton and James Wallace. This was going to be one big fight with 2 big
punchers. The first round started with a mature display of all their skills with punches and kicks delivered with accuracy and venom. The round
finished with Johnny breaking his right hand, damaging 2 of his knuckles. The fight was not able to go on, such a shame! Never mind all is set for a
rematch showdown!
Many thanks to everyone who helped make this show a massive success. It was a huge challenge putting on this show, the hard work Andy
Morgan and I put into it was well worth it. It was so good to be working with Andy again!
