Ann began karate back in 1990 and is what can be affectionately termed as 'a late starter' in beginning her Karate career. She loves to fight and the titles she has won are second places in the B.A.S.K.A. Woolwich and Birmingham competitions in 1993 as well as competing in a few local tournaments.Ann runs a young, 'youthful' club in the Hafod, Swansea and although she has young students, she bases her success on their successes within the group at gradings and on training nights when she sees her pupils progressing under her instruction. Their standards are also hers. She likes training in the 'Hafod' area because she was brought up there. She has now been training in Karate for the past 16 years and runs the 'Hafod Shor-a-kai Karate Club' in Hafod, Swansea
